I went to my grandfather‘s gravesite yesterday for the first time , decided to pull into the Mt. Hope Cemetery .
a day the roads were very icy from snowfall . I didn’t think much about The road conditions but as I was leaving to go home, , I turned left on the road, but the car slid to the right & stuck in the snow. I began shoveling with the shovel snow from around the tire That’s all I can think of to do, but then I saw a truck come down the street and it had a guy in it and he told me he was gonna call his friend that worked with him and they were gonna try to push me out, could not believe I got stuck in the snow with my 93-year-old grandmother in the car.
But thanks to two groundsmen Joey and Eddie. They stuck around and help me get out by pushing the car, even driving the car at one point to help me get out of the cemetery before it closed. I honestly cannot think these two gentlemen enough for their consideration dedication and support . Thank you very much for helping me and my 93 year old grandmother get out safely. Also, can’t forget , the guys that helped me find the gravesite. They came with shovels to remove the snow got it done in a few minutes. Great experience overall the staff should promote these men .

Randi is amazing!!! We have buried five family members there and every time we have dealt with her. She is very understanding and easy to work with in the most difficult times in life. They are always very professional and promt to answer any questions or needs. Absolutely recommend Fairview Memorial for a final resting place.

Office was very helpful with providing the location information for my in-laws. They even offered to take me to the location and when I said I'd try on my own they said to call the office and they'd come out. That's going the extra mile. Grounds were well taken care of. Thank you!

I had to most wonderful experience with Jacklyn. I was having trouble locating my Uncle. All his siblings have passed since his death. I had searched section 19 and just could not find him. It was a holiday so the office was closed. I called the office Monday morning and spoke to Jacklyn to inquire whether he had a headstone. He in fact did have a headstone, but with time the headstone had sunken in. She put through the work order and had all the info regarding my Uncle's gravesite ready in the office. The headstone was preserved by being sunken in, and looked beautiful. The grounds men did a wonderful job. Jacklyn is truly an asset to Elm Lawn. I appreciate all her help regarding my Uncle. Thank you so very much.

Great experience this year(2025).
The winter cemetery decorations were placed in front of graves early this year before Thanksgiving.
Normally, they weren't placed until the 2nd week of December.

This is the first time I ordered flowers, they are beautiful. I thought you were putting them on starting December 1 in which case I would have removed the Thanksgiving flowers. I feel they are placed where they could belong to anyone. I felt they would be closer to the grave. This is very disappointing to me. However it was well worth it they are lovely.

Thank you Manager Jessica and Parkholm team for your respectful and caring treatment of our mother’s headstone. Each year, I had been noticing that our mother’s headstone was sinking and being covered with grass. When I contacted Jessica for help she immediately apologized and took action to have her team level and clean the headstone, as well as, re-seed the area around Mom’s headstone. Also, she took further steps to send me an email which included a photo of the completed work. The photo showed areas of concern and she took the initiative to have the stone cleaned again because she felt it could be done better.
This work by Jessica and team has brought such a peace to my family knowing that your organization truly cares about the maintenance of our mother’s headstone. Thank you all for your commitment and dedication to your customers.

There are so many things to consider when you want to do some pre planning of a final resting place. My husband and I didn’t want our children to have to go through the stress and expense of doing that for us after our passing. Genevieve, who is on the staff of Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, walked us through all the complexities. She helped us define what we wanted for ourselves. She was so personable and patient with all my questions that I came away feeling that not only did with get everything we hoped to taken care of but that I came away with a new friend in the process. Received detailed email info from Jacklyn Rodriguez to pinpoint a grave but could not find it with a visit. Messaged her back. Later received a photo of the marker showing obvious enhanced site maintenance. It was above & beyond by all involved.

Just wanted to thank Ms. Gianna for her help today. I truly hope she gets the recognition that she deserves. She was just driving through the cemetery in her own car and had stopped to ask me if I needed help finding my loved ones. She quickly got out of out of her car and directed me to my grandparents graves.

She was so quick to want to help, and if it weren't for her. i would've went home and hoped for better luck next time.

I pre-planned with Mt. Hope in 1998 and again in 2022. When my Mom passed in 2023, it was a relief knowing interment arrangements were paid. I have worked with Jill since my Mom passed. Any purchases (vase) or grounds work I requested were handled by Jill with the utmost efficiency and satisfaction. All of that is very important but what Jill did once when I called, brought me joy. We hadn’t talked in a long time so I was about to give Jill my Mother’s name. Jill said my Mom’s full name before I could say it. That not only showed Jill is attentive to customers , but she remains attentive to our loved ones. If I could give Jill ten stars I would. Thank you Jill!!!

The cemetery is always well kept and all the staff are polite and professional. I know it's a sad place when I visit my mom and dad, but seeing all the flowers and decorations on all the graves makes it a little brighter.

My parents are buried in a family plot in Mt Greenwood cemetery. As I live out of town, I don’t get to visit the graves as frequently as I would like to. This visit, I found the grass around the flat headstones cleared. This was the first time this had ever happened. I was so pleased. When meeting Annie, a consultant in the office, I learned that the cemetery personnel were responsible for this. I thanked them and told them how pleased I was. Also, in discussing prearrangements with Annie, I found her to be knowledgeable and most helpful. The cemetery has been acquired by the Troost organization. Kudos to this group and their employees.

I recently visited the cemetery after not living here for a long time. Unfortunately I couldn’t remember the exact location of the burial site so I went to the office and the woman there was so nice and friendly. She gave me a map with the location and had an attendant meet me there and help find the exact location. The worker was so nice and kind, he got a shovel and edged the perimeter then he cleaned it up with a broom, followed by a gallon of water and washed and dried it off. I was so grateful for that and I couldn’t thank him enough for being so kind. They do a great job there and it’s very much appreciated. Thanks go out for the staff and workers for all their help and compassion.

Our entire family wants to thank Lincoln Memorial Park for making our recent bereavement a caring and smooth experience. With my brother being passed outside the country and the need to switch places, a dozen or more certificates and documents were required for permission to bury and burial, Genevieve and her staff spent hours upon hours with our family going over all the details tirelessly to help us out. I accompanied my father years ago to enquire about Lincoln Memorial Park, and we bought lots at the end of our 'interview'. Since then, we have had need to lay my brother, my mother and now my father to rest. I live in the UK, but I have every confidence after father's recent funeral that their remains are all being well cared for.

Genevieve is wonderful, she assisted us in completing dad's arrangements with patience and compassion. Her suggestions helped us tremendously. Dad had his arrangements made for many years when I called to find out what would be needed at the time of need. She reviewed his file and let us know His stone was discontinued. We were able to finalize his headstone, and it was placed in such a timely manner! Dad even got to see his stone! Thank you Genevieve for all your hard work and for making us feel like family! Clarendon Hills Cemetery staff and maintenance team were incredibly supportive and patient during the entire process of interment planning from getting the grave lot confirmed to the grounds staff allowing the family to spend as much time need to complete the burial service. They went above and beyond to also guide us in the selection of the headstone and plan for it's installation. The grounds are kept clean and cared for.

I contacted Mt Greenwood on the hopes of finding the grave of my husband’s great grandmother. Where she was buried was a mystery but her husband was buried there so it was a guess. Barb Flynn not only found her grave she provided photos of the three family graves there along with plot location details!! We are very grateful for her care and kindness and solving a genealogical mystery for us!!

The staff at Elm Lawn are kind, compassionate, patient, and very helpful. I primarily worked with Kenn, however, when on the phone, I have also worked with other members of the staff. Kenn has helped us through this painful process and we are grateful that he has been there every step of the way. Even when we were finalizing the gravestone, Kenn would even call in Alison, one of the office ladies, and James, one of the groundskeepers, for their opinions to help us in creating the perfect memorial for our Libby.

Karen was exceptionally helpful in locating the internment location of a long lost relative. She was professional and extremely expeditious- she sent me the detailed information and map within minutes of my inquiry. Thank you!

I’m writing this review based on my recent experience with Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery in Northlake. After the recent passing of my mother, I was treated with care compassion and respect from beginning to end. Randi walked me through the difficult and emotional process taking the time to explain details and answer all of my questions. She was professional and sensitive to the needs and wants of me and my family. Processing the loss of my mother wasn’t easy but Randi and the staff of Fairview made navigating through the arrangements very easy to do. I’m pleased with my decision to choose Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery as mom’s final resting place.

We appreciated the helpful staff. Damien Lyles in particular was outstanding. He was patient, empathetic and helped our family in a very difficult time.

I wanted to get my great grandfather a head stone since its free through the government because he was in the Spanish America war. The people in the office are all so nice, especially Roseann LoPresti she work with the government and me with all the paperwork. And got the headstone for my great grandfather. They all did a fantastic job! Even putting the stone in the ground it looks great! Looks like their going to put new grass seed down for him to.

This is not your ordinary cemetery, most cemeteries are creepy have you on edge etc but the vibe that it give people welcoming families visiting are nice they come over and talk to you pray for you and your loved ones . They help you with water or just simply cleaning off your loved ones one resting place. They have chairs where you sit right next to your loved one. Everyone speaks and really nice to you , even the workers there. It’s crazy you can stay and visit as long as you want etc. I never got an ill feeling or creepy fleeing or just on edge it was totally different.Muslim families are such beautiful people with a good spirit. I appreciate all those people I met while visiting. Thank you all for the love support and being friendly to myself and my family as this was a difficult and sad time for us .

Randi and all the employees there were kind and courteous and very respectful of our wishes for my mother’s funeral. If I had a question, Randi was there to answer it. She kept me posted on when the headstone was going to arrive. It arrived on my mother’s birthday, it was a perfect day! The grounds are well kept. Thank you for everything you did for us to make things run smoothly in a very rough time in our lives.

I recently worked with Randi to take care of pre need burial arrangements for some of my family members. She was very knowledgeable and showed so much compassion. These are emotionally difficult things to decide on and she showed true professionalism.

From the first time we worked with Genevieve a few years ago to prepare for my mom's needs, to her passing, and now to the completion of a grave marker, she has always been sincere, caring, and responsive. When I mentioned we would be in town from Florida on short notice, she helped get the installation of the marker done so we could see it while in town! While this was not a pleasurable moment for us, Roseann LoPresit made so much more easier and smooth. Roseann was not only helpful, she was empathetic and offered us so much more assistance - she made a sad time a little lighter for us. No one wants to be in the position we were, but Roseann held our hands and guided us effective and efficiently for the best outcome for our loved one. She was amazing, thank you!

I worked with their family counselor, Damien Lyles, to set up some prepaid arrangements for a dear friend. Damien understood exactly what I needed. He quickly sent the contract and helped me work through it. Easy process. He is very efficient, helpful and a joy to work with.

The staff at Clarendon Hills Cemetery was so helpful when I needed help turning over the vase at my dad’s gravesite. One of the groundskeepers, Jesse, immediately came to my dad’s gravesite and was able to pull the vase out of the ground. It was caked with dirt. He even offered to wash it out! Thanks Jesse!

I am writing this review as a funeral director who coordinated a burial with a graveside service at Fairview Memorial Park. I was beyond impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, as well as the quality of service they provided to the family I was serving. Pedro and Alex work so well together, it's clear that they know what they are doing. They were welcoming, accommodating, and very easy to work with. True professionals. Randi in the office was equally great--very kind, creative, and compassionate. The office facility was welcoming and nicely maintained and I appreciated the bathroom soap choices! 🙂 Everyone at this cemetery clearly takes a lot of pride in their work and truly care about what they are doing for a living. All the way from Brian the Manager, Damien the Asst. Manager and the staff - Lindsey, Kerri, Roseann and others were extremely sensitive, courteous and so helpful at the hour of need when my Mom passed away. Also, worthy of mention is the providing of the tent during the burial as it was raining cats and dogs, and it wouldn't have been possible to conduct the last rites; however, against all odds Brian was able to set up the tent too, in a timely manner. Very thankful to him & staff! The rest followed through very smoothly until the final head-stone was laid.

Fiorentino was EXTREMELY helpful in finding my mother’s grave. I could have been searching forever if not for him!

My cat died yesterday, and Kenn Kulpinski treated me like family. I totally recommend Elm Lawn Cemeteries.

I visited Mt Greenwood Cemetery today and met the new Admin assistant, Rinchen, he was so helpful and gracious he had everything setup for me to put my Mother and Brother in the niche my family and I was very pleased with everything. I must say that Paula, the previous admin was also just as gracious.

Jesse and Joel were extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. They went above and beyond to clean off my great grandparents vase so we could put new flowers. It’s refreshing to have such kind people in a bittersweet time.

Matthew gave me excellent customer service working through selecting a headstone for my son's grave site.

finally got around to buying a cemetery plot for me and my wife. we aren't going to live forever and don't want to burden our kids when we pass. plus cemetery plots are not going to get cheaper.

we met with damien lyles and he walked us through the options available. damien carefully explained what choices we could make.

overall, a very smooth and comfortable process.

We were stumbling around looking for a grave site and Florentino stopped his truck, got out and asked if we needed help. We did and he located the grave, we’re very thankful and appreciative of his extra effort!!!

My daughter passed away in July 2024 and Fairview Memorial Park is where she’s resting.
The funeral service was exceptional and Pedro was very helpful with everything we had to do to help us get through the burial ceremony.
Randy Naccarato was also very helpful and kind, I would recommend anyone interested going to her because she will make sure that you feel comfortable in any way.

My husband passed away in November 2018 and for over five years I have struggled with Fairview Memorial Park over the deplorable condition of his grave—-until late last year! Pedro and Alex, the new groundskeepers, take great pride in their work, and it has made a huge difference in the condition and appearance of the cemetery. Their attention to detail was evident as we drove to my husband’s grave already last fall, and i am pleased because my husband’s grave no longer looks neglected. Their hard work is very much appreciated. In addition to the excellent new groundskeepers, Natalie is new to the office staff at Fairview Memorial Park; I have found her to be easy to work with and very dependable. These people have made a HUGE positive difference to the cemetery and I can honestly recommend it.

One of the hardest decisions to make is where to bury a loved one. Fortunately for my family and I, we have an opportunity to research and review several places. Fairview is by far the best option available and the customer service provided by the staff is outstanding. While the cost can be somewhat unexpected there are a variety of options. The peaceful setting of trees and green grass make this a great choice for my mom and stepdad's final resting place. If you are able to don't wait until it's too late, plan ahead.

My father used to love the tranquility, beauty and peace that parks exude. These are primary reasons why I personally chose burial for my loving father at Fairview Memorial Park. However, I also realize that the professionalism and customer care by which the staff affords is just as important. Every time I visit my father’s grave site I always look around to absorb the wonderful environment as it’s just so relaxing. I know my father is happy. Please visit Fairview Memorial as I am certain it will make a great option for your loved one when the time arrives.

Overall this cemetery has been a blessing to my family that have resided there, but I’m mainly upset with the fact that they remove decorations that were place for loved ones!!! I can understand if it caused problems to lawn maintenance, but at the same time it really doesn’t because I always place it right by their headstone. So is it really that hard to just remove it and place it back after done with lawn maintenance care? No, I don’t think so! That is the only thing that agitates me about this cemetery. People want their loved ones flourished especially after their time is done on this earth. Like the least we can do for them is put decor to make them standout and what not. But yall staff members have to ruin it. Change your policies!!!! Thank you!

The staff there are professional and caring. I worked with Wanda, not only did she assisted me with mom's interment. She also assisted me with a replacement grave marker through the VA for my dad. She was very pleasant person to work with.

I was able to visit the gravesite for my Grandfather, Great Grandfather and other past members of my family that were buried over the last 100 years. it is a great moment as an adult to reflect on my family and my history and the legacy they have left. Fairview is one of Northlakes hidden gems. Unlike other cemeteries it does not have that haunted feel to it because the monuments have started crumbling and fading throughout the years. Since they only allow lawn level markers it has the serenity of a well manicured golf course than a cemetery. The improvements they have made in the last few years like removing all that brush in the front has only added to my number of stars. Furthermore the staff is genuinely friendly and makes you feel like a part of the family. I have never been there without receiving a warm greeting!

I have recently worked with Alison on my mother’s burial and she was so kind and helpful. Today, I spoke with Wanda to order winter decorations for multiple family graves and she too was so wonderful to discuss the different orders. Thank you for having such a nice and caring staff!

So I went to the cemetery today to remove flowers before the Halloween deadline.
I have to compliment the staff as well as the groundskeepers who do a fantastic job keeping up ALL graves, including the forgotten ones.
Dead trees have been removed, the lawn is fantastic, and when my mom's copper vase was stolen (had happened at many surrounding cemeteries)
It was replaced by the cemetery.
The management appears different from when I buried my mom a decade ago, but it's all for the good.
I can't say enough about this small community cemetery.

I had questions about what could be left as decorations, which I saw the online description, but still had questions. They’re email response was timely and informative. I really appreciated that opportunity to communicate when they were able, instead of being another phone call.

Quiet, well kept, older cemetery with easy access just next to the highway.

I have generations of family members in this cemetery. I'm not able to visit frequently, but I appreciate that they'll put flowers on the graves for me for a reasonable price. It's a nice service they offer. The staff are very helpful, and this is a beautiful place for my loved ones. Thank you for all you do.

I appreciate the staff at Arlington/Elm Lawn for allowing me to prearrange my burial with my family!! This means a lot to me!! Also for letting me to duplicate my Great Grandma's stone so my head stone can look like hers!! I appreciate everything and everyone 🙂 I am at ease knowing that one day I will be laid to rest there at Arlington alongside my Great Grandma, Uncle, and Great Great Grandparents!!!!

My father passed away and being an only child, all of the planning was on me. I was so confused and lost as to what to do and how to plan. But George made the process extremely easy and was helpful. My father was a Navy vet and George went to all extents (Honor Guard and live Buglers) to make the day so impactful for the whole family.

We had our plot next to my husband, Richard's, parents and sister. George helped us match our Memorial Marker with theirs. We live in Iowa now, so George walked us through the procedure our children will use to bring us back to our final resting place. He was not only helpful and understanding but also very kind.

Tricia Parris is an angel she not only met but exceeded all of my expectations, from making changes to my parents headstones to surprising me with an early installation I can't find enough words to thank her!!!

Office was very helpful. Reasonably easy to locate the graves. For such an old cemetery it was decently kept.

My Grandparents did purchase their family plot in the early 1960's at River Hills Memorial Park.Since then my parents and Aunts and uncles has purchase their family plots too. Over the years we are all please with care and up keep of the cemetery . With my recent purchase for my self I am so impress with the care and support from the office.George and Karen has shown me professional service.Thanks again !!!

With some much grief it was hard to think about picking out a memorial plaque for our mother. George made it easy and was very patient. Because of the restrictions due to covid we did everything through email. In less then 24 hours everything was chosen and ordered. I can say how much I appreciate all his help. River hills also was very helpful is the burial. They let us bury her with the dignity she deserved, while following covid restrictions. Thank you again

We lost my brother unexpectedly and George helped us not only give my brother a beautiful home, but also recommended an amazing funeral home. I lost two pets back to back 2 years ago and been meaning to write a review about the wonderful staff at Elmlawn . Wanda is THE absolute best !!!! Donna is absolutely wonderful as well! Mary is lovely ! I seriously don’t know what I would have done without Wanda’s help ! I was so much in shock and grief but she made all the arrangements and took care of everything!!! Both my pets were buried next to each other and she made that possible as well. She helped me every step along the way and also in picking the headstones . Many of my family members are there and 2 yrs ago I placed my mom there and they were so helpful since I have never had to deal with arraignments myself and they walked me through everything step by step.

I want to extend praise to Karen at River Hills. She has exhibited so much patience and understanding throughout all of my repetitive questions. Her timely and thorough responses were appreciated, and she never made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. What a wonderful and caring staff!

Run relatively efficiently. The office staff are reasonably professional and helpful. Call ahead for the best experience, because the office can get crowded sometimes.

We lost our son a year ago and I hope no one has to go through what we went through but if you do, please know that River Hills Memorial is an amazing place. It is beautiful and a very peaceful area! The people are so warm, compassionate and helpful through, during a even after a difficult time. I will forever be grateful to George for everything he did for me and my family. He will always have a special place in our hearts. He made our decision easy so we could focus on what was important which was to mourn our son. Please know you will not be disappointed with River Hills Memorial.

The staff was simply amazing. I really appreciated how I was in search of a stone for my grandson, George listed and put together a stone that was amazing but that was within my budget. I'm truly happy for the service I received and the final product of the stone that will be placed on my grandson grave. I would recommend River Hills Memorial to anyone that has a loved one at the cemetery.

Well maintained clean cemetery. My father was buried here in 1982. Located close to the highways. A lot is bought by Islamic Foundation of Villa Park for Muslim burial. After my father died in 1982 arrangement was made through them. Their chief Brother Hamid Dogar helped us to wash our father's body and following all the Islamic ritual for proper burial and required prayers. My fathers grave is in Section 13A, Lot B, Grave 8. Please pray for him. I called the Cemetery Office who agreed to lay flower on my fathers grave on Fathers Day as I am away and send me the bill for future such arrangements..
